As a dedicated and enthusiastic fan of film from past and present, I have often wondered what goes into writing a professional film review.

One day, as I was reading a review for a film that I truly enjoyed, I realized that a lot of professional film reviews focus more on the technical aspects and official film industry jargon, rather than whether or not an audience would enjoy the film.
